Dear Members,
Hello!
It is hard to believe that November is already here. I hope you all enjoyed a wonderfully successful summer car season.
As we come to the end of the year, NAAM will host its Annual Membership Meeting via Zoom on December 21st, 2023. After thorough discussion, the Board has decided to return the Annual Membership meeting to the Conference in 2024. We want to ensure that the membership has the high participation rate in the governance process that comes when we align the two events. Because of the short time that would lapse between the Annual Meeting and the next conference, the Nominating Committee does not plan to present new candidates for Directors until this spring.
This brings me to a very exciting announcement. On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to share that the 2024 NAAM Conference will be held from March 12-15 at the Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, Georgia. We are thrilled to delve into the cutting edge techniques used by one of the newest NAAM members to create an unforgettable visitor experience.
Now is the time that we need YOU to make the Conference a great success. In this issue of the NAAM newsletter, details about the conference theme as well as the Call for Proposals are included. Please consider submitting a proposal for a session or nominating a peer that you think could enrich our group.
Our committees remain active as we work to continue improving how NAAM serves our membership. We continue to welcome volunteers for these committees. In addition to the Conference Planning Committee, the Value Proposition Committee will be working to define membership benefits to better serve you. Please reach out to myself or Christine if you would like to support these efforts!
I look forward to seeing you all at the Annual Meeting.
Best,
